Picture this City explores the history of Moonee Valley through images that have been captured by local photographers over the past 150 years. Elizabeth Gertsakis looks at the history of a community through its social clubs, theatre societies and sporting groups of the past with a series of photographic collages and multi-media presentations. 

She also sheds light on the history some of the issues that we face today as a community, such as urban development and protecting our wonderful natural environment. 

This stimulating exhibition shows us that these questions have always been important to the people of Moonee Valley - in the past, the present and no doubt for many years to come.
