Jess Hall is a painter, and a studio artist at the Abbotsford convent, working primarily in watercolour and oils. Jess has a continuing interest in creating new forms out of existing scientific diagrams and collections of botanical and insect specimens. Jess completed first class Honours at Queensland College of Art and relocated to Melbourne in 2006 where she completed the Masters in Fine Art at Victorian College of the Arts and Music. Jess’ work has been purchased for public collections and has also featured in numerous art prizes, group and solo exhibitions. Jess was awarded an Australia Council Art Start Grant in 2010.

Yvonne Patton is a long term studio artist at the Abbotsford Convent. She expresses herself that painting is a love. Often her subjects are still life, nudes or abstracts. Her composition is strong and she works in vibrant colours.
