The art of Julie Chislett Duffus is a result of a personal challenge to represent the light, air and mood of the Mallee and the emotions this landscape evokes.

These works address the thousand sparkling grey greens of the Mallee after rain while others have been painted on days when the air is hot and hazy. Further works are of the recent flood waters and new life that has returned to the local red gum forests.
