This exhibition showcases a stunning array of artists books and livres d’artistes produced by Townsville’s Lyre Bird Press during the 1990s and early 2000s, held in the Mackay Regional Council Collection. Established by renowned printmakers Tate Adams and Ron McBurnie, the press produced work by many of Australia’s leading printmakers including George Baldessin, Fred Williams, Jan Senbergs and John Brack.
