The horizon is a fiction

The horizon is a fiction, presents new work that continues Tiffany Shafran's ongoing exploration into the personal collection as a site of counter memory. For this exhibition at MOP Projects, Shafran inverts the notion of the personal collection as a desire to reconstruct the past as our own. Through a process of discovery in which found imagery acts as prompts, Shafran conflates authenticity, anonymity, history and memory to create an evolving set of images through colour and pattern.
