Time Passing: The In-Between
Harley’s work explores her understanding of time shifting and time passing, memories of childhood and her rural upbringing. Largely formulated through intense observations of her own family, Harley’s superbly executed figures, interiors and still-life studies draw us into the moment while reflecting on the past, highlighting the significance of the mundane and the everyday in our own lives.
